Olympus Nova: A Procedure List & Home Page for Physicians

We redesigned the procedure list experience for a clinical platform — running co-creation sessions and usability testing to ship an intuitive, validated solution. That work laid the foundation for a larger discovery effort with physicians and nurses, uncovering how clinicians prepare for their day and ultimately shaping a phased home page strategy built around real workflow needs.

Problem
Clinical teams were working from a procedure list that hadn't been designed around how they actually work. As the platform grew, it became clear that clinicians also lacked a meaningful starting point for their day — no unified view of the information and tools they needed to prepare and perform at their best.
Solution
We ran co-creation sessions and formal usability testing to redesign the procedure list, resulting in a shipped experience that better matched clinical workflows. Building on those insights, a large discovery research project with physicians and nurses informed a phased home page strategy — delivering an MVP foundation while defining an intermediate concept and a north star vision for a workflow-aware clinical home.
